The initiative, which began in mid-July of 2022, used environmentally friendly materials in order to maintain water quality and meet the increasing demand for freshwater. This new pipeline will provide fresh water to residents of Mahdub and Hadibah as well as the new sections of Al Shanouf Suburb. It will also boost the efficiency of the current network.
Faisal Al Sarkal is the Director of SEWA’s Water Department. He said the project was in line with the directives from H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi is the Supreme Council Member of Sharjah and Ruler. He has directed SEWA to provide services essential to newly developed areas in accordance with the highest standards.

In order to comply with the most recent international standards for freshwater transportation and distribution systems, the implementation used carbon steel pipes coated in safe and sanitary Epoxy. The pipeline has been subjected to rigorous water pressure tests, which confirmed its readiness for use.
