ABU DHABI (WAM), 5th June 2023 — The British Standards Institute (BSI) has awarded the ISO 29993 certification to the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department in the area of institutional training and learning management outside formal education.

ADJD is the first organization in Abu Dhabi that has achieved such certifications for its institutional training activities.

Yousef Saeed Alabri (Undersecretary, Abu Dhabi Judicial Department) said that the ISO certificate for institutional training and qualifications is a testament of the success in human capital development. This achievement is in line with the visionary leadership of His Highness, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Vice President, Deputy Premier, Minister of Presidential Court, and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judiciary to develop well-trained, scientifically qualified national cohorts to enhance competitiveness of the Emirate.

Alabri, the Undersecretary of ADJD, reiterated ADJD’s commitment to adopting the highest standards globally across all sectors. This commitment supports initiatives that improve performance efficiency and the quality of legal and judicial services. It also prioritizes the development of human resource capacities and skills that play a crucial role in sustainable development. These efforts are aligned with the strategic objectives of the Abu Dhabi Government to achieve global leadership.

Ahmed Ebraheem Almarzouqi (Executive Director of the Administrative Support Sector, ADJD) highlighted during the award ceremony the importance of developing human resources to adapt to challenges and stay abreast of change. He said that the ISO certification is a reflection of ADJD’s commitment to excellence. This underpins its progress towards realising the Department’s vision and strategic goals in a future-oriented manner.
