SHARJAH, May 4, 2023 (WAM). The International Excellence Foundation, based in Florida, USA, is concerned with the promotion of digital transformation for governments.

The ceremony was held in Dubai and attended by top officials of the United Nations, International Excellence Foundation as well as leaders and representatives from various government agencies.

Majid Al Shamsi, director of the General Department of Institutional Support of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, confirmed that this award was a major achievement for the authority in the last two years and culmination of their continuous efforts.

He said that the authority had begun implementing a plan to encourage community groups and employees to take part in social initiatives, to adhere to social responsibility and to develop social networking websites and to provide distinctive content in accordance with standards international for social media accounts.
