SHARJAH 4th May 2023 (WAM). Rashid Al Kous Executive Director of Emirates Publishers Association, stressed that their participation in the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival’s (SCRF), under the theme of “Train Your Brain” with the “Manassa “project, aims at presenting the works of Emirati publishing houses affiliated with it, displaying 430 children’s and youth literature titles.
At the Expo Centre Sharjah, the EPA will be participating in the SCRF’s 14th edition by presenting “Manassa”, a project that aims to showcase the creative work of Emirati publishing houses and to celebrate their quality and creativity.
In exclusive statements made to “Sharjah 24,” the Executive Director of EPA confirmed that publishing houses taking part in the “Manassa ” project have more than 10,000 titles in various educational and creative fields that are suited for children. Through the project, the association aims to encourage a culture that promotes reading and creativity in children by encouraging them to explore their world of knowledge and their creative energies using books that are suitable for their interests.
Reading is a key tool in a child’s cultural and personal development. It helps children identify concepts and values and improves their language skills.
