Sustainability Day is organized by Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI 4th May 2023 (WAM). – Sorbonne University organised a Sustainability day on campus to educate students about the importance of protecting our environment, and to make sustainable technologies and practices accessible for them to bring positive changes to their everyday lives.

The initiative is aligned with the University’s Go Green 2023 Initiative. This initiative aims to raise awareness and develop initiatives that address climate challenges in order to move towards a sustainable future.

Participants can find out about the latest developments in sustainability and conservation of the environment through interactive activities, discussions, and workshops.

Students can learn more about the importance of recycling and how to reduce their carbon footprint by interacting with these interactive elements. They will also be able to make better choices that are good for the environment.

Eisa Al-Raesi, head of the Students Affairs Department of Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi said: “Such events are going to lead our students to a brighter and more sustainable future. They will also empower them to make sustainable choices which will contribute to our future and preserve our planet.”

The event featured a lively and interactive marketplace, with exhibitors showcasing some of the most innovative, revolutionary and sustainable development products, activities and services from all over the region.

The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi (Air France), Edama Organic Solutions (3D Middle East), Electricite de France Baker Hughes Nautica Environmental Solutions LLC and EcoBuild were among the exhibitors and participants.
