SHARJAH (WAM), 2nd May 2023 — The Sharjah Private Education Authority is participating in the 14th Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival, which starts on Wednesday and runs until the 14th month of this year. It is coordinated by Sharjah Book Authority.
The festival is being held by many private schools that fall under the authority. This aligns with their goals to promote and spread a culture of reading and literacy in humanities and sciences, as well as instill it in students.
The 14th Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival takes place at the Sharjah Exhibition Centre over 12 days. Visitors can participate in 1,658 different cultural, artistic, and creative events.
The 141 participating publishing firms, which include 93 Arab publishing companies and 48 international publishing firms, are 512 visitors from over 66 different countries.
