DUBAI, May 3, 2023 (WAM), Dubai International Airport (DXB), was named the “Best Airport in Middle East” as well as the “Best Airport Worldwide”, at the 22nd annual Business Traveller Middle East Awards held on Monday at the Palazzo Versace Dubai.

The awards recognize DXB’s outstanding performance in balancing rapid growth and maintaining its position as the number one international airport in the world for the ninth consecutive year, while also continuing to improve the airport experience of 66 million passengers.

The Business Traveller Awards recognizes the best in business travel and tourism. Brands are recognized across 40 categories that are fiercely contested, spanning three divisions. More than 250 dignitaries from travel and tourism industries attended the gala ceremony. The Business Traveller and frequent flyer magazines are used to judge the awards.

Eugene Barry EVP Commercial and Jamal Al Hai, DXB’s Deputy CEO, received the awards at the ceremony.
