ABU DABI, 1st MAY, 2023 (WAM), The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, an initiative of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, has so far issued 945 housing aid decisions valued at AED749 million in 2023. The programme aims to make 3,000 decisions in 2023, including decisions on providing government housing or home financing jointly with banks.

Eng Mohamed Al-Mansouri said, “We will continue to work tirelessly with our stakeholders and bring government housing strategies and plans to fruition to improve social wellbeing and living standards of UAE citizens.

“Providing decent housing for Emiratis has been a top priority for our leadership, because the prosperity of people is the cornerstone of sustainable development for the country, which is in line with government objectives for the coming 50 years. SZHP, in order to contribute to the happiness and well-being of UAE citizens and residents, has developed plans and launched quality initiatives and projects. In the next phase we will align the efforts of the government, private sector and local community in order to better serve Programme beneficiaries.”
