SHARJAH, 2nd May, 2023 (WAM) — H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi said on Monday via direct line program that the cattle project which will be launched in Sharjah is unique in the world.
He said that the “cows project”, to be launched in Sharjah will include cows which have never been distributed anywhere in the world. Sharjah is the first country to receive the cows. They are a new breed of protein, A2A2, with 18 unique features and a recipe that cannot be found in any other cows. The following year, their products will be available.
The Sharjah Ruler added: “By Allah’s grace, this milk won’t have its benefits reduced unlike other milks whose benefits are taken to produce other products. We will provide the milk to consumers as is, exactly like the milk that comes directly from a cow. There will be no reduction or intervention in the components. The milk can be used to make butter, just as if it had been taken directly from the cow. These projects are not for profit, but they aim to improve human health. Many of our projects are geared towards this goal. God willing, we will see the central region become an exemplary region.”
“Education is available in the Emirate Sharjah wherever people are, and beautiful facilities encourage them to learn,” he said. We don’t wait for people come to us. We are grateful to Allah for completing all the facilities of the University of Khor Fakkan which will open next year. The university has been designed to offer the best educational services. It will also include anatomy and sport science. The university has a group of distinguished trainers and sportsmen with both theoretical and practical teaching equipment. There are also a number of air-conditioned dining options that you can access from the campus or inside. It also has a sports center in Jebel Deem that can accommodate both male and female students. “Thanks to God, after interviewing four universities, we reached an agreement with the College of Health Education.”
The Ruler of Sharjah said, “God willing, tomorrow we will sign two contracts with two British Universities for the University of Al Dhaid. One for the College of Agriculture, and the other one for College of Veterinary Sciences.” As part of the Desert Sciences Centre – a separate research facility from the University of Al Dhaid – we also have a Seed Centre at Al Dhaid. The University of Al Dhaid is expected to open a year after Kalba University. We are planning to add an important project, a Research Centre, to the University of Khor Fakkan. The project has been developed by a contractor. This centre will be home to researchers from around the world.
