Mohammed bin Rashid directs the dispatch of urgent humanitarian aid to Sudanese refugees

DUBAI, May 2, 2023, (WAM). His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President, Prime Minster and Ruler, Dubai, has directed the urgent dispatch of humanitarian aid to the Sudanese brothers who have been displaced by the recent conflict.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid stated that the UAE will always support its brothers. His Highness emphasized the importance of bilateral relations between the UAE, the Sudan and their cultural and historical links.

Aid will be provided in the form food and ration packages through Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.

The UAE has always been committed to making humanitarian and development aid an integral part of its international relations. In terms of its national income, the UAE ranked first in the world for the largest donors of official development aid (ODA).
