ABU DHABI (WAM), 2nd May 2023 — President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met today with representatives of Sharjah Football Club who won the UAE President’s Cup recently for the tenth consecutive time in their history.

His Highness, during the meeting held in Abu Dhabi at Qasr Al Bahr, congratulated all the players, technical and administrative staff and UAE football fans.

He wished them success on the local and international stage and praised their performance in the cup final.

The Sharjah FC delegaion expressed their joy at meeting His Highness President. They thanked him for his support of the UAE’s sports sector, athletes and for inspiring them to strive for more sporting success.

At the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan was present. He is Vice President, Deputy Premier and Minister of Presidential Court. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region; H.H. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the Chairman of the Board Trustees for the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation. Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (Lt. Gen. ), Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior and a number of Sheikhs.

Sharjah FC was accompanied by Sheikhs and other officials.
