Dubai Foundation for Women and Children celebrates World Day for Safety and Health at Work

Dubai, 2nd of May 2023 (WAM), — The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children organized a workshop for employees of the General Pension and Social Security Authority to increase awareness about occupational safety and prevent accidents at work that could negatively impact mental health.

Amna Ibrahim Al Mutawa was the Psychological Services Manager at DFWAC who conducted the workshop. It took place in celebration of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, celebrated every year on 28th April.

Sheikha Al Mansouri (Acting Director-General, Dubai Foundation for Women and Children) stressed the commitment of the foundation to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all employees at the workplace. She said that the workshop demonstrates their commitment to raising awareness about workplace illnesses and accidents.

Al Mansouri also stated that the foundation is committed to providing a work environment in which staff members receive care and where health and safety standards take priority. The foundation’s goal is to foster a workplace that promotes employee wellbeing and continuous improvement by adopting strategies for improving safety and health systems.
