AJMAN, 2nd May, 2023 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi (ruler of Ajman and member of the Supreme Council) received Ghannam Butti al Mazrouei (secretary-general of the Emirati Competitiveness Council, ETCC), today in his court, in the presence H.H. Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi is the Crown Prince of Ajman.
Al Mazrouei informed Sheikh Humaid during the meeting about the ETCC, the Nafis Programme, and their plans and initiatives for improving the competitiveness and qualifications of Emirati cadres to work in the private sector. He also drafted necessary initiatives that would guide and qualify youths to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the private sector.
The meeting also reviewed plans and initiatives launched in the programme by the Council and its success in increasing the number citizens working in private sector.
Sheikh Humaid said that the Nafis program is crucial to reduce the gap between public and private sector, empower Emirati capabilities in the private industry, and support the efforts of Emiratis cadres to actively participate to the growth of national economy and to ensure its future competiveness.
He praised the work of the people responsible for the Council’s activities and their efforts in implementing all phases of programme plans, encouraging the participation of national cadres, and investing their energies to build the future and drive the sustainable and holistic development of the Private Sector.
