DUBAI, May 1, 2023 (WAM). Global Village, the UAE’s and wider region’s top multi-cultural family destination for culture and shopping, as well as entertainment, has announced that they welcomed over 9 million visitors during Season 27. This is their highest visitor number ever.

Fernando Eiroa is the Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Holding Entertainment. He said, “This record, achieved in 188 days, firmly places Global Village not only as the region’s top entertainment attraction, but also among the most popular entertainment destinations around the globe.” We look forward to the future as we continue to contribute to Dubai’s status as a global centre for entertainment and tourism.

Global Village Season 27 opened on 25 October, 2022. It featured more than 90 different cultures in 27 pavilions. 400 artists representing over 40 nationalities performed 40,000 shows. The guests were also able experience more than 175 rides, attractions and dining options at more than 3,250 outlets. They could also enjoy 77 fireworks displays.

Global Village is returning soon for Season 28 with new experiences, improvements and retail offerings. The date of the opening for Season 28 will be announced in later this year.
