ABU DHABI (WAM), 1st May 2023 — Doordarshan India, India’s English-language public broadcaster, and an international news network, will air today evening a joint documentary produced by Doordarsdhan (DD India) and the Emirates News Agency.

The first anniversary of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and India is marked by a documentary entitled ‘India-UAE Partnership : New Frontiers, New Milestones,’ which will be broadcast today at 18.30 UAE time (20.00 Indian time).

DD India is a satellite channel of Doordarshan which is owned by Prasar Bharati and operated by the Indian state broadcaster. The documentary will then be posted on WAM’s website and social media channels after it has been broadcast on DD India.

The documentary will feature top officials from both countries including Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi (UAE Minister of State for External Trade), Piyush Ghoyal (Indian Minister of Commerce & Industry), Sunjay Sudhir (Indian Ambassador to the UAE), Dr. Ahmed Al Banna (former UAE Ambassador to India), and B.V.R Subramanyam (Former Commerce Secretary of India) who will share their opinions on the historic deal signed last year and the impact it has had on

This joint effort is built on a Memorandum of Understanding between WAM, Prasar Bharati and other parties for cooperation in varying areas.
